Porsche News Bits Brought To You By Unobtanium Inc

Really, Really Nice 928

The 928 is one of those odd ducks. Porschephiles seem to love ’em or hate ’em with very little room in between. I happen to think it’s one of the most impressive GT cars of the era. That might be why I was so impressed with this amazing 1,400-mile survivor! It’s impressive to see a car that has been so perfectly preserved. Further, it’s a car that wasn’t necessarily “hot” enough for collectors to mothball back in 1978. Thankfully somebody did, and boy did he pick a doozie. Lint Green Metallic over the most psychedelic Porsche interior to ever have been stitched. I think it was an instant classic. I hope the new owner continues to show the car from time to time so we might have the chance to enjoy it in person.

This 928 is currently for sale. View it here on ebay
