You always want to phone to ring and have someone say, “Do you want to buy my 67S?” I am yet to say no to such a question. The newest S in the Unobtanium stable arrived today from Northern Cali, and while the color on it now is a little hard to figure out, the paint code says the original color was Sand Beige. It was in good company and well protected on the ride here with an armed Army Jeep, a newer Porsche, and a V8 914.
This one will more and likely go into cold storage with the rest of our retirement fund. At least it will be in good company with a couple early painted dash 912’s, another S, and some 356’s. So today was a good day, another S saved.
